Choose a route based on the information you need:
- For a booking record or booking photo, begin with the records-request guide and send a focused written request to the county FOIA Coordinator.
- For state prison, parole, or probation information, use OTIS from the Michigan Department of Corrections. OTIS is not the Gogebic County jail roster.
- For someone believed to have been arrested today, review the Daily Arrest Report guidance or call the jail.
- For several days of arrest activity, use the Weekly Arrest Log request steps.
- For custody-change alerts, try the VINELink Inmate Check, remembering that a missing result does not prove a person is not held.
- For a federal prisoner, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator; for an immigration detainee, use the official ICE locator.
